2019 was a great year for Eddy Travels. We graduated from Techstars Toronto in May, one of the world's leading startup accelerators. Won the “Startup of the Year” award in Lithuania in June. Launched Eddy Travels on WhatsApp. Participated in the Intelak program led by the Emirates Group in the autumn. Finally, in December, we announced a pre-seed funding round of $500,000 from a group of amazing investors.
Starting 2020 with a bang, we reached 0.5M users by more than doubling month over month since September last year. Eddy Travels’ user growth directly correlates with an increase in usage and revenue. To support this growth, we will continue to improve our unique natural language processing technology and integrate new travel services. With the Eddy Travels chatbot you can already search for flights and hotels. Soon, we will add more search options for car rentals, restaurants, and tours.
